BARBERSHOP HARMONY SOCIETY, legally and historically named the Society for the Preservation and Encouragement of Barber Shop Quartet Singing in America, Inc. (SPEBSQSA), is the first of several organizations to promote and preserve barbershop music as an art form.

SWEET ADELINES INTERNATIONAL is a highly respected worldwide organization of women singers committed to advancing the musical art form of barbershop harmony through education, competition and performance. This independent, nonprofit music education association is one of the world's largest singing organizations for women.

THE GREEN MOUNTAIN CHORUS--The Burlington Chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society
The Green Mountain Chorus is the performing Chorus of the Vermont chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society. We date back to 1947 and have recently celebrated our 60th anniversary.

RUTLAND CURBSTONE CHORUS is a men's barbershop chorus based in Rutland, VT. Like the Green Mountain Chorus, they are members of Barbershop Harmony Society.

AMERICAN CHORAL DIRECTORS ASSOCIATION (ACDA) is a nonprofit music-education organization whose central purpose is to promote excellence in choral music through performance, composition, publication, research, and teaching. In addition, ACDA strives through arts advocacy to elevate choral music's position in American society.

DEBRA LYNN is a professional singer and vocal coach.  She works with vocal training for a number of barbershop choral groups including Maiden Vermont.  She has extensive experience with the barbershop style that includes both choral and quartet performance and competition.
