Maiden Vermont COVID Policy (updated November, 2023)
Maiden Vermont is committed to the health and safety of all our members. Because many are over age 60 and considered at higher risk, we each do what we can to preserve the wellbeing of our Maiden sisters. Pertaining to Covid-19, we follow the recommendations of the CDC.
As per CDC recommendations, members of Maiden Vermont and visitors at our rehearsals are encouraged to:
If you have any symptoms of illness, please make sure you have a negative covid test on the afternoon of rehearsal, wear a well fitting KN95 or N95 mask and sit apart from the group. With more severe symptoms, please consider staying home until you feel better.
For those who test positive for covid, we ask that you have two negative at-home antigen tests, 48 hours apart, before returning to rehearsal.
Anyone may choose to wear a mask at any time. While not required, masks are recommended for those at higher risk.
These guidelines may change as Covid-19 information changes.
